This was a standard rectangular pool to which a rimflow and water feature was added.  The work was particularly difficult as the pool was situated almost right on the boundary fence of the golf course, making working space very limited.  The rimflow channel was created by reducing the height of the exiusting gunite wall, dowlling into this and guniting the rimflow channel.  The raised wall on the end of the pool installed to create more privacy, was constructed in the same way.  The image here is of the completed product, view more images to see some of the before pictures.
Mosaic Black slate tiles
Internal finish Charcoal marble plaster

A white marble plastered pool recieved a face lift with a new plaster finish and Quartz Carpet surround.  The Quartz Carpet has been taken right up to the edge of the pool, this facilitated by the installation of a very thin profile stainles steel angle.
This project was completed in association with Living Matter Landscaping www.livingmatter.co.za, and pictures are by ishoot photography www.ishoot.co.za

An outdated and asymetrical pool transformed into a one with clean lines and a contemporay style.
The existing gunite pool was altered to a rectangular shape by adding a new gunite wall the length of the pool, which freed up a lot of space in the small garden.
New Revelstone coping, fibreglass lining and waterline cermaic mosaic tiles update the old style and the wooden deck raised slightly above garden level adds the finishing touch.
Other alterations not visible included the addition of an LED underwater light and Zodiac salt water chlorinator.
